This project started in the summer of 2024, with two dedicated ladies going into northeastern towns donned in purple hats. Their mission was to shine light on current election issues and engage the local communities. The response to their valiant efforts was dismissal.
The following summer they tried a new tactic. They brought their team together... Voila!! “Help Save America” Campaign was born. They partnered with findingcommongroundcoalition and began holding medical panels in rural towns to build relationships with the locals in Davenport and Ritzville… but again, rural residents were not interested. One rural voice suggested we consider advertising on billboards! And here we are.
In September, “Help Save America” put up 7 billboards: in Cheney, Rockford, Fairfield, Ritzville, Latah, Rosalia and Clarkston. We know our billboards have an impact because, the Chief Operating Officer at East Adams Hospital in Ritzville was inundated with phone calls on the day our billboard went up!
In November we went live with digital messaging playing messages on podcasts and streaming medias targeted to conservative, rural voters in Eastern Washington. Within the first month, our message was heard over 300,000 times, 10% of the people in CD 5. Our messages.
This work would never have started without it’s founder, the two Octogenarians who started this campaign. Shirley and Roz.
